Can we directly support young talents?

"The private commitment of our sponsors and donors at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz facilitates scholarships awarded to particularly qualified students, thus making a significant contribution to providing research and teaching at the highest level. We regard the National Scholarship Program as a chance for our University and our region to extend and strengthen our established scholarship culture."

Professor Dr. Georg Krausch

A contribution to the National Scholarship Program (Deutschlandstipendium) shows social responsibility and also emphasizes your links to JGU. You support the top people of the future and effectively strengthen the network that links business, science, and society - your important contribution to the future of our country. The scholarship program also opens up new perspectives for people who cannot afford to study for economic reasons.

One half comes from the federal government, the other half comes from you.

Support the education of outstanding specialists and young researchers at JGU for a year by donating an amount of €1,800 - as a company, a foundation or in your private capacity. The Federal Government doubles your donation, so that a monthly scholarship of €300 is paid out. Read more about additional options for sponsors...

The basis of the National Scholarship Program is the Scholarship Act (StipG), which was passed by the Federal Government in July 2010.

Are you part of it?
